Overview

Fair launches. Every trade burns.

Onyx is a coin launchpad on Solana built over Raydium LaunchLab. Coins launch without a dev wallet, without block 0 and with clone protection. Every trade pays a 3% fee that goes back into the coins as buyback and burn.

On most launchpads the dev bundles a buy with creation, snipers land in the first block, fees go to the dev, and one narrative gets cloned five times. Onyx removes each of those: the platform creates the coin, nobody can be in the creation block, the ticker is protected, and fees buy the coin back and burn it.

How it works

  1. Name it. The creator picks a name, ticker, image and pair. Launch is free: Onyx pays the rent.
  2. Fair creation. The Onyx master wallet creates the coin in a private bundle with a tip. The mint address isn't published in advance, so nobody can buy in the creation block.
  3. Trade. Everyone buys on the same Raydium LaunchLab curve: about $2.8K market cap at the start, about $41K to graduate into a Raydium pool.
  4. Burn. Every few minutes the master wallet collects the fees, buys the coin and the Onyx token through Jupiter, and burns them.

Fair creation

The creator never signs the creation transaction. The Onyx master wallet does, inside a private bundle, so the mint address is unknown until the coin already exists.

  • No block 0. Snipers have no address to target in the creation block.
  • No dev wallet. There's no allocation and no creator buy bundled with creation. The creator buys on the same curve as everyone else, after launch.
  • No fee payout to the dev. Trading fees never go to the creator's wallet, so there's nothing to cash out and walk away with.

Fees & burns

Every buy and every sell pays 3%. Raydium charges its own 0.25% on top.

ShareWhat happens
1% coin buyback & burnBuys the coin you traded through Jupiter and burns it. Supply only goes down.
1% Onyx buyback & burnBuys the platform token and burns it, from trades on every coin.
1% treasuryStays with the platform and pays for free launches.
burned per batch = fees collected × 1/3 ÷ coin price

Example, not a forecast: a coin with 1,000,000,000 supply trades $1,000,000. 1% is $10,000. At an average market cap of $200K that buys and burns about 50,000,000 coins, and 950,000,000 are left.

Clone shield

A ticker can't be reused for 60 minutes after a coin launches with it. Before comparing, Onyx folds the ticker to one key:

  • case and spaces are ignored: moss, M O S S → MOSS
  • leetspeak is folded: M0SS, MO55 → MOSS
  • Cyrillic lookalikes are folded: МОSS with Cyrillic М and О → MOSS

On top of that, the same image can't be used twice, one X account can launch one coin, and a ticker that already trades on another platform with real volume is rejected.

Buy and sell

  1. Open the app and connect a Solana wallet (Phantom or MetaMask).
  2. Open the coin's page from its link. The page shows price, market cap, how much has been burned and when the next burn runs.
  3. Enter an amount. The quote shows exactly how the 3% splits between the coin burn, the Onyx burn and treasury.
  4. Confirm in your wallet. Your share of supply grows over time as the supply burns.

Launch a coin

  1. Go to Launch, enter a name, ticker, optional image, description and X account.
  2. Pick the pair: SOL, USDC, a tokenized stock like SPYx, NVDAx, QQQx, or any of 580 pairs.
  3. The clone shield checks the ticker live as you type.
  4. Press Launch. The Onyx wallet creates the coin in a private bundle and it opens on the curve.

There is no dev buy at launch. If you want to hold your coin, buy it on the curve like everyone else.

Risks

  • Coins are volatile. Most go to zero. Burns reduce supply but don't guarantee price.
  • Burns need volume. A coin nobody trades has nothing to burn.
  • The fee is 3.25% in total. That's higher than some launchpads.
  • Batches, not instant. Fees are collected and burned every few minutes, not inside each trade.
  • Not financial advice. Numbers in these docs are examples, not forecasts.

FAQ

Can the creator dump a dev allocation?

There is no dev allocation. The creator buys on the curve like everyone else.

Why can't I launch my ticker?

A coin with the same ticker, after folding case, spaces, leetspeak and lookalikes, launched in the last 60 minutes, or the ticker already trades elsewhere with real volume.

Where does the Onyx token come in?

1% of every trade on every coin buys and burns it, so platform volume turns into Onyx burns.

Which wallets work?

Any Solana wallet: Phantom and MetaMask connect in one click.

Where do I follow Onyx?

On X: @onyx_launcher.
